R. S. Institute offers the ANM Course for all prospective students who would like to make a career in Corporate Hospitals, State Govt. Hospitals and other areas in the health sector. This Course prepares us students to deliver quality in Nursing Care, in a high technology based environment. ANM Programme is a skill based oriented programme.
Health is our fundamental right. Health cannot be protected by health services without the active involvement of community service. Indian Nursing Council (INC) believes that ANM plays a vital role in the rural health care delivery system. The student should be well trained, sensitive and accountable to meet the health needs of the community. She should be able to provide accessible, equitable, and quality health care. ANM can act as catalyst for promoting inter-social convergence in promotive and preventive health care functions and responsibilities which depends on the level of qualification and the working environment. At the initial level, nurses are required to manage special group of people like psychiatric, pediatric intensive care patients etc which require specialized skills. There is an examination after the completion of the course conducted by Bihar Nursing Registration Council, Patna. After passing the examination the students are awarded with “Diploma & Registration Certificate” from Bihar Nursing Registration Council approved by Indian Nursing Council.
